Dinner for Two

This collection for solo vibraphone offers a wide degree of interpretative freedom.

Each of the three pieces includes an improvisational section; fully notated example improvisations are provided in the appendix for reference.

The pieces are conceived less as strictly through-composed works and more as loosely structured jazz or pop songs. Subtle changes to the notated material are therefore not only possible but explicitly encouraged. The notation should be understood as a snapshot of a musical moment rather than a fixed, definitive version.

The edition invites performers to engage actively with form, sound, and timing, allowing the music to evolve through interpretation and improvisation.
