Alle Jahre Vibra

Alle Jahre Vibra brings together six Austrian and German Christmas carols arranged for solo vibraphone in a relaxed, jazz-influenced style.
Each arrangement includes a lead sheet outlining the theme and solo form with chord symbols, allowing the pieces to be approached flexibly and idiomatically.

For each carol, a fully notated solo is included as an option for performers who prefer not to improvise themselves or who would like additional inspiration for their own interpretation. These solos are transcriptions of the improvisations recorded on the album Alle Jahre Vibra by the author.

Stylistically, the six pieces explore a wide range of characters and consciously move beyond the traditional image of the Christmas carol as purely contemplative. While the original melodies remain clearly recognizable, the arrangements invite a more playful, rhythmically open, and contemporary approach to familiar material.
